Shakir Mahmoud
A senior Iraqi lawyer, born in Baghdad in 1948. He graduated from the Law College, Baghdad University in 1975, and joined later the Iraqi Bar Association. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Iraqi Bar and the Arab Lawyers Union.
Mahmoud has a long standing experience as an attorney on behalf of companies as well as Iraqi government entities before Iraqi courts and has participated in a number of arbitration committees. He has represented the Iraqi Bar Association in a number of committees and conferences in Iraq and abroad.
Mahmoud is actively involved in litigations in Iraq.
