Werner Kordt
Kordt is a senior German solicitor and Notary Public practising in Essen, Germany.
He joined the German Bar in 1977 and was later admitted to the Amsterdam Bar. In 1986 he was admitted as a Notary Public.
In Germany it is possible for some lawyers to function as a Notary in addition to normal lawyers functions.
He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Arab German Chamber of Commerce and Industry between 1985-2001, and took part in drafting the Euro-Arab Rules for Conciliation, Arbitration and Expertise. He has represented a number of German companies in relation to projects in Iraq, Algeria, Tunisia and other Middle East countries.
His main law office is in Essen, with a number of associated offices in Europe including Amsterdam, Paris, and London. Areas of Practice include:
