Ken Kilimnik
Mr. Kilimnik is practising in Germany as an attorney in the fields of American law, international law, and arbitration. He has 25 years of experience as an attorney in the United States and Germany.
He graduated from Northeastern University School of Law with a juris doctor degree (J.D.), was admitted to the bar in June 1981, and clerked for a federal district judge in Washington, D.C. before obtaining maters of law degrees from Columbia University and the University of Trier. He then worked in the litigation department of the Philadelphia law firm of Pepper Hamilton and served as in-house counsel in New York to a media company before moving to Germany in 1992.
He has advised and represented companies on their commercial transactions in the Middle East and on foreign investment laws throughout the world. He has also advised intergovernmental organisations and groups of parliamentarians.
Mr. Kilimnik is a lecturer on international business law in the United States, Germany and China. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, the Bar of the District of Columbia, and the California State Bar Association. He is a listed arbitrator with the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS). It is worthwhile to mention that the arbitration procedure announced by Ernst & Young on behalf of the Iraqi Government to adjudicate on specific claims are subject to the Law of New York State.
