Dr. Hany El Akrat
Dr. Hany El Akrat is an Egyptian lawyer practising in Germany as a legal consultant in Egyptian law. He graduated from the law college of Tanta University in Egypt in 1985 and joined the Bar the same year as a practising lawyer.
He was awarded LLM degree in 2000 by Friedrich-Alexander-University in Erlangen, Germany, from which he also obtained a Doctorate degree in law in 2009.
He has published a number of legal articles and research work on comparative law, including Egyptian family and business laws and Islamic law.
He speaks Arabic, German, English and French.
